Moen Technologies LLC, a portfolio company of IP Holdings LLC, was established in 2001 to monetize three patents related to debit-platform telecommunications. The company sued and received settlements from PepsiCo Inc. and Coca Cola Company.

Following these successful licensing transactions, Moen sold the patent portfolio with the assistance of General Patent Corporation, which acted as an advisor.

The patent portfolio of Moen Technologies LLC has been acquired by New Illuminations LLC.
